GOBLES—A four-run fourth inning erased a 2-0 deficit for Saugatuck and helped the Indians to the 7-2 win over Fennville in a Division 3 baseball district semifinal on Saturday, June 3.

Saugatuck dropped the title game 10-0 to Hopkins.

The fourth-inning rally against Fennville included RBI singles from Carsie Walker and Peyton Scogin was well as a run-scoring bunt from Keegan Seifert. Saugatuck tacked on three more runs an inning later, two of which scored on a double by Grayson Rotter.

Walker, Rotter and Scogin each ended up with two hits for the Indians, while Dakota Latchaw collected two of Fennville’s four hits.

Walker worked a complete game for the win, walking one and striking out six.

Against Hopkins, Rotter, Jared Bolhuis and Ryan Shanahan each singled to account for Saugatuck’s hits.
