WATERVLIET—Eight of the 10 players on Saugatuck’s roster scored in the game against Watervliet on Friday, Jan. 11, led by 17 points from Maddie Moore.

The result was a 60-29 win in the Indians’ first action in three weeks following Christmas break.

The win was the third in a row for Saugatuck,

“Our press tonight was phenomenal,” Saugatuck coach Kevin Tringali said. “We were very active with great rotations.”

And no player stood out more defensively than sophomore Zoe Meyers.

“Zoe was all over the floor,” Tringali said.

Fellow sophomores Karissa Moerler and Emma Walker impressed on the offensive end.

“Karissa and Emma continue to improve in their decision making in transition,” Tringali said.

The Indians led 35-12 at halftime.
